YOGESHWAR DUTT
 Yogeshwar Dutt is an Indian freestyle wrestler. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he won the bronze medal in the 60 kg category. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2013. He won a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Career                                                                                          Dutt started practicing wrestling from the age of 8 years. He was always inspired by Balraj Pehlwan who belonged to his native village. Coach trained him and helped him reach where he is today.

 Awards and Rewards

  • He received Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in the year 2012 by Government of India.
  • For earning the bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympic, he received ₹10 million (US$150,000) cash reward from the Haryana Government, ₹5 million (US$74,000) from Rajasthan government, 4x4 vehicle from a PSU bank. Haryana government is planning to allocate him a land in Gurgaon of worth ₹250 million (US$3.7 million).
